And destroying their families, meanwhile the US citizens are not drafted to relieve these guys....and no clear way of paying for the war?

The alternative would be to re-instate the draft which would put a very quick end to the war.

Bush wants this war to go on as long as possible.

There is not going to be a draft, because that will sink both parties. As for Geraldo, if he reported anything bad about the war or its operation, how long do you think he would be working at Fox News? I have said this once and I will keep saying it. Until Bush makes announced visits to Iraq, I will keep believing that things are not going as well as the Bush Administration (which I could always trust) or Fox News (same comment) says it is.

there are new people in the military today who will have the chance to deploy, those veterans will not have to serve more tours in iraq, the war is really a contreversial subject . the taxpayer's money is being spent on the war, and also money borrowed from other countries.

Turn and listen to Geraldo. He's been to Iraq now
nine times and he has a whole different picture than
our liberal press. Don't you realize most the press are
liberals (Democrats) and they won't pass along any
good news that happens if it favors Bush or the war?

Clinton destroyed the military, this is the smallest military we have had in a hundred years. And the damage is being done by the liberals and the liberal press, anyone who can see past the nose on their face can see the damage being done by democrats..

Volunteer army. Most of these guys are signing up for more tours.

Some people believe in sacrificing their lives for their country; I do not.
