you should be asking his doctor this not a bunch of yahoos on the web who have no idea. we cant give this as we dont know his health history

at 8 months this is how my son ate
breakfast was cereal and fruit usually bananas and a bottle about 4-5 ounces the other ounce or so went into his cereal

my sons first meal was always a bottle nad back to sleep at 6am he had his cereal around 9-10 am
1pm was a bottle and a two sometimes three hour nap
whe nhe woke up he got a jar of veggies and a bottle 8 ounces this feed
dinner was two things a meat and veggies meal a fruit and cereal and a 4 ounce bottle

just give him something else. My baby (six months old) enjoys a cereal or mashed milky bananas for breakfast, home made veg puree (spinach, sprouts, brocoilli, carrot, sweet potato, potato, peppers. leeks etc) for lunch and baby rice with fresh fruit for dinner. A baby should not be eating honey until it is 1 year old!

give him cereal with fruit in the morning, veggies or meats for lunch and meats for supper. there are lots of types out there like chicken with rice, vegitable beef and spagetti, etc.... give him more then cereal.
