presidential glass bottle that we know isn't worth much but it has a bird swing inside. Where the glass from the mold dripped and connected to each side of the bottle thus making it look like a birdswing. Does this add to or detract from the bottle. If I lose, I get to detail his truck. If he loses, he has to cook supper and do dishes! Thanks!

Silly girl! Mold as in a metal fixture that you would pour the glass in then pop it out.
Thanks tjnstlou I will definitely take your answer into consideration but I really do want to know about the bottle.

Wow. I'm impressed Mr.Ssb. You are right in that I spelled "mould" wrong and it could have easily been mistaken for actual "mold". But I was saying silly girl in a Light hearted manner or is that "lite hearted manner" because if the whole (hole) question would have been read and thought through(thru)(threw)then she would have known what I meant as you obviously did. There is no way that I could get a picture of the inside of the bottle and I didn't think the question was complicated at all. People like you just suck the fun out of living! Okay, this is just for you..Mr.Ssb. I have a glass bottle and when you look inside, you can tell that a piece of glass dripped and stretched over to the side and attached itself. So, would you think it would take away from the value or add to(too)(two) it. I would assume it happened while it was being made because the bottle would probably shatter if you tried (tryed) to(too)(two) add the extra glass after the fact.

Hard one-
Most items that have funky flaws are worthless unless the item it's self is precious. If it's a rare bottle then Yes, it would be worth more money but it's a mass produce piece then No it's a common defect. Funny how these things work- there is an old barbie default were their got air in the boobs and it almost formed a nipple- these dolls are worth tons of money where if the flaw is in the arm or any where else- it's worthless. Midge doll without freckles (skip on the assemble line) is worth 5 times as much as normally midge- but the midge with double the freckles (opposite mistake) is worthless.
I am afriad- I have to call a tie! You are both correct but it depends on the actually value of the piece. If you know the bottle is worthless to being with- then it's not worth anything with the defect.

why do u call her silly ? ur spelling is wrong.. by finding more details from ur additional details, I cud see that u meant 'mould'. But the qstn is still unclear to me. the swing is inside the bottle. Now what do u want to do ? what do you mean by "Does this add to or detract from the bottle.". pls try simple English so that it is clear as well as without mistakes. thanks. I will come back to check and answer when u put in more details.
And of course, like someone already asked, a picture wud hv been better..
Alright, my answer is: it does not add value to the product. It is an imperfection. That's very clear.
That said, just a word of courtesy for you - pls try to be polite in future, with so much of mistakes "to (two)(too) " - u really don't know which word to use huh why bother others with sarcasm.
And I really wonder how bubble and blunt r so blunt in finding this 'interesting'.
btw, no offense meant. so if u find it offensive, send me a msg ok ?

If it happened during the process of making the bottle then it should add to it but if the mold dripped later because of some lack of care in the life of the bottle then it will detract from its value undoubtedly. Good luck to you.....S

I have no idea what in the world you are talking about but how bout you detail his truck while he is making dinner, both of you do the dishes then race each other to the bedroom. Life is too short for this.

I would say it detracts from the look of the bottle. I'm for purity of the product.

It's mold and mold doesn't "add" any value to anything. It's mold and mold is disgusting, no matter if is shaped as Princess Di's face.
Clean the bottle and get ready for detailing.
Good luck
