Geez, maybe the ACC should look for another conference to play, the MAC or the MEAC or someone who might put up a fight anyway.

Matchups are made before the rankings come out. You can also look at the MSU-NC St. game as a complete mismatch if you would like. The Wisconsin-Duke matchup actually looked pretty good on paper, not so good on the court.

If you want to get into discussions about Final Four history, the ACC is the winner in that too. Last year was an anomaly. Overall the ACC has more teams making the Final Four than the Big 10.

djs1184, it really wouldn't matter what order the matchups are in. The Big Ten wasn't going to win much more than the 3 wins they got. The ACC is just a deeper conference, and while the top Big Ten teams can compete, the middle and bottom of the conference don't stack up against the ACC.

The Big Ten should start looking at the Big Ten-Horizon League Challenge.

hahaha, big ten a mid-major....... the only reason the acc wins these things is because they create matchups that are in the acc's favor. i mean, having #2 UNC play an unranked OSU that just lost oden, conley, and cook? how about #7 Duke play Wisconsin, who is obviously going to be down and Duke brought in another monster class. if you ask me, the big ten is a victim of circumstance more than anything.
