I'm not exactly sure what this is...other than just a sign. Does it really affect me in any way, shape or form?

aquarius is called "water bearer". in ancient mythology (greek) zeus brought a beautiful prince up to the heavens to serve as wine server for other gods when one of the goddesses who was in charge of it, sprained her ankle badly and could not do it anymore.

aquarians used to be ruled by saturn, but since the discovery of uranus, the sign is now co-ruled by saturn and uranus. this makes for a very interesting persona; while saturn urges the aquarius to seek good societal positions and be conservative, uranus urges the aquarius to go wild, rebel against society, and be revolutionary. thus aquarians usually struggle between the two (add that with the fact that uranus was a planet discovered through math, and you have a very futuristic, rather off-beat people running around as well).

aquarians tend to have dreamy eyes, they tend to move their head a lot, and they have this "aloofness" mood about them. even if you have moon sign and rising sign in something strong like taurus, scorpio, or leo, you'd still possess this "out of the world at the moment, be back in a few" look and portray it unconsciously. we're right between capricorn (those with need to succeed in life) and pisces (who's in another dimension entirely), so generally, aquarians live right in between.

aquarians love "love games" like playing-hard-to-get, they love social gatherings and people (at the same time, they'll sometimes become social hermits to recover), and love friends more than family sometimes (unless your moon sign's in cancer).

now, if your sun sign's in aquarius, that means you probably have some of the qualities i've put up. i suggest you check out astro.com where you can get information (more in-depth) about your moon sign and rising sign, and how they affect your main sign (sun sign).

Aquarius is a sign, and when it is passed through by different planets it endows them with it's characteristics.A better anology would be to think of signs as houses through which the other planets come and go.While they stay in this house they take on atrributes of this home, act up or just chill out.
Thus Aquarius wouldn't exactly affect you,but you should find attributes of the sign where ever it is in your chart.

A water-carrier. It's significant because you do get on well with two Water signs - Pisces and Scorpio, - but you are totally individual to the point of being offbeat. Usually Aquarians are ahead of their time and therefore are seen as eccentric by those who are not as far-sighted as them. There's a lot of info about your sign below -

Also you might like to check out Linda Goodman's Sun Signs which is a very good book that's gone into several editions and is deadly accurate about the signs.
