I expect you would be in trouble for that too if you said it in the Sudan. No doubt they would say you were insulting the sandals that Mohamed used to wear!
And boy! Would you be in for it if your sandals happened to be made of pigskin! That would probably be rewarded with a death sentence!!!

The world has gone nuts. Santas in Australia have to say ha, ha, ha rather than ho, ho, ho and now we are worried about what to call sandals. People need to have more important things to worry about in life (life peace and world hunger) rather than find ways to complain that their feelings are being hurt.

its called "political correctness" i like to call it thought control or sensorship. i too have some jesus sandles,lol,and thats what i call then too. these days its getting harder and harder to have a sense of humor or to be able to voice your own opinion..i believe its one of the things that the administration(government) has been shootin for. becareful what you say in public,big brother is watching and listening..it reminds me of a time and a country from years back. hmmmmmmmmmm......i though am not a sheep aaaaaaahhh the teacher sudan! to be put in jail that is riduculous!! just more"political correctness" gone waay bad!

I called the Jerusalem Crusers, and if you lived in a place like the Sudan and were found out to be calling them Jesus sandals you would be stoned to death.
