If you are breastfeeding it would depend on what you eat. Sometimes my baby's poop is yellow, green, orange, brown, it's a variety of colors, all normal :)

A baby's stool can be just about any color. It really depends on what they've eaten and their own system. I've seen some very unique colors come out of there. Purple, blue, orange (neon orange at that), just about any color of the rainbow (and some that looked like a rainbow), and some i'm not sure are in any rainbow...lol. Don't worry unless it looks like it has blood in it.

Its caused by the natural bacteria in the gut.
Its totally normal for anyone, even babies to have green poops. Nothing to worry about.

I thought it was the soy formula, that's how my babys is all the time, even when she was new. My other kids were yellowish, and they were on milk based.

Iron=green poop =) no biggie. perhaps her diet is high in iron?
adults who take iron suppplements get green poop too.
