No Repubes win such sought-after awards... Why?

Because they don't CARE about improving the lives of others or world peace. Nobel winners are people that care about others, Rebublicans don't.
They don't care about kids and giving them health insurance, they don't care about our troops, they tax the poor and middle class more than the rich - are you getting the point here? They preach Christian values but instead are very cruel in their policies.

Ronald Regan used to carry a book by Milton Friedman, a Nobel winning economist (1976) from the University of Chicago. And you really can't get much further right wing than either of these guys.

Because it is all propaganda. Liberals pushing their view of the world. Al Gore won a prize that has nothing to do with peace.
Also, whenever I see a book that won an "award" I won't buy it. If it is given to me as a gift I give it back or throw it out.

Sought after by who? The Nobel Prizes are an extension of the group that chooses them. Perhaps if you knew the committee is a group of socialists from within the Swedish government, then you wouldn't be touting the so called award. Unless of course, you agree and are proud that the Dems are socialists?

Teddy Roosevelt won the award; he would be a progressive Democrat today.
Henry Kissinger won the award. But, he was an international playboy, and dated Jill St. John. I would make him an honorary Democrat.
I guess the answer is Republicans, on the whole, are more interested in their own business affairs, than to strive for universal peace.

The Nobel judges are notoriously liberal...so no surprise. It was commonly known that when Carter got his award that the MAIN reason they gave it to him was to insult Bush.

How do you know what political affiliation the winners in physics or chemistry are? The only one I know is Gore, but he shared the peace prize (what peace he caused I don't know) and that is known to be awarded for political purposes only.

Democrats work for worthy causes to help humanity. Republicans are more interested in their bank accounts.
