Im referring to property prices.
I got on the property ladder 15 yrs ago before prices went mad, there is NO WAY i could afford my to buy my little house at todays prices and i earn more than the average wage.
Im deeply worried how my kids will ever afford a place to live.

Me too. That is why I am strongly urging my kids to go to college. I don't know how you can make it today without a college education.

No .. did your parents worry about your chances of buying a house ?

... since we are all living to a ripe old age, there is no chance your kids will inherit your house in time to start a family .. however they MIGHT inherit Grannie's house ... (assuming she's not forced to sell it by the money grabbing Council)

NB. Property Ownership is a very British thing - most the rest of the EU are happy to be Renting ....

I don't worry about it in the least, but my kids both earn well above average incomes. One already has a lovely condo, and the other is still renting, and looking to buy in the near future.
