they are calling him an unlikley hero, I think he is a likely hero most people in his situation would stop to help no matter their race, and deffinatly people that are just coming here to help save their families lives too.

I think they are just using the expression unlikely because sneaking into the country is not exactly honorable. I don't think race has a single thing to do with it. Furthermore, it's nice that he was looking to make money to support his families (plural) but he really should have thought about that before he helped to bring SEVEN lives into the world that need his support.

What a touching story ! The world needs more people like this ! He did, save this young boy's life !! I'm so sorry for the mother though !!

Tough call. He broke into this country illegally but still took the time to help a child in need in the face of death. I can admire his actions, but to call him a HERO is not justified completely.

unlikely or not - saving a life is something you don't get to do every day
