I had that happen 3 years ago...I survived, I just got another job.
It wasn't really a lay off though...it was more a direct result to my calling a coworker an effing idiot. oops

its strange you hear people being let go at christmas more than anytime of the year, looks like jobs would try to keep people

i think it can both ways cause its like a vacation but at the same time you have to worry about the bills and food. at least you can hibernate.....i love to hibernate all winter and thats why i have my own business out of my home.
