Not definately no, but if your baby co-operates they will be able to tell you. Also make sure you drink plenty of water, this helps to get a much clearer view of your baby! (you will be on the toilet all day then though lol) Mine kept closing its legs and they couldnt tell us, only 2 more wks until I find out though hopefully!!! (Sorry I answered the q thinking you meant a routine anomoly scan, I thought that they only did 3D scans from 24 wks onwards)

If you are going to spend money on a 3d scan I would wait until you are around 26 weeks pregnant that way you can more or less be sure to find out. I had mine at 26 weeks and they confirmed it was a boy. I now have a gorgeous 6 month old son

Yes, they should be able to tell. But I wouldn't recommend getting a 3D scan that early. Generally you have to pay an arm and a leg for those, since insurance companies don't offer to pay. Most places will tell you that the perfect time to have them done is around 28-32 weeks. Anytime before then and you aren't getting a good, clear picture of your baby.

As long as your baby isn't feeling modest they should be able to tell. Just bear in mind that the only true confirmation is when the baby is born but I hear that the 3d scans are about 90% accurate with gender.
Good luck

probably if the baby is in the right position to allow tem to see but you mght be best to wait until you have had you routine 20 week scan at the hospital and if they can't tell you because of the baby being in the wrong position then go for a scan.

possibly if they baby is in the right position. Plus its kinda hard at this stage to see. They usually do it farther along so they can do measurements of the baby. Good LUck
