When i was younger (about 18ish, im 24 now) me and my mom were really into the paranormal, A friend of hers told her about a bridge were there was a fatal accident involving a child and a mother being struck by a car while walking and both dieing. Me and her drove up there together (in the same car) and started taking pictures and looking around. Then we got back into my truck and went to turn around on the bridge and a black cat ran across the rd into a field i immediatly got out and ran to the field and there was nothing, i looked for nearly 15 minutes, there was no were else for it to go, it was just a flat plowed field and there was no cat....Ever sense then i CONSTANTLY see black cats, are black cats really a sign of evil?

It may be a totem animal, or now you are paying more attention to them. Do they seem to lead you somewhere you never would have gone? Or do they peak an idea in your head when you see one? Maybe you see them so they can teach you something... or, maybe you can only see the cat...

Dunno, but good luck, and listen to what you mind says when you see the black cats...

A black cat is a black cat and that's all - and why should there be a sign of evil at a place where a woman and child died in an ufotunate accident? Don't get your reasoning.

Black cats are historically associated with witches and evil. They are seen as bad omens. In some cultures, they are even believed to be lucky. But the color of the cat has nothing to do with evil. Its just old superstitions that carry over into our own time.

Actually, black cats being evil is an American superstition. In Europe and Asia, black cats are a sign of good luck. We just assume that they're bad luck, or evil, because they are most commonly associated with witches.

No. Black cats just have a bad image due to their association with the occult/witches. Just because you see a black cat does not mean that evil is following you.
