wendy torrence sees a man in a bear suit doing something* to another man/woman in a bedroom at the end of the film. i understand what they were doing just not why he was dressed as a bear? thanks x

There was a costume party waaaay back and what Wendy saw were ghosts, they were just a way of telling the audience that they are ghosts, because Wendy, Jack and Danny WERE the only one is the hotel...

It was a man who attended a fancy dress party from years gone by in the hotel if I remember correctly and Wendy was seeing an event that took place in the hotel years earlier, creepy movie, so claustophobic.

I think he was in a bear suit because there was a fancy dress party going on - I think there's another reference to it somewhere, or it might have been cut and the bear just left in for the surreal imagery
