Ive tried to download podcast on Itunes and still i cannot make it work.I cant put it in my ipod.Can anyone help?Do you have to subscribe to it or what?

You don't have to suscribe to it. If you DO suscribe to it, though, that just means that every time a new episode is available, when you open iTunes up then it will automatically download it for you.
But to get an episode, just click Download. It should download right then and there. Then, when it's done, plug your iPod into your computer. At the left, click on "_______'s iPod". At the top of that screen, click on Podcasts.
Then just make sure that it says Sync All Podcasts.

i don't think that itunes auto syncs podcasts with your ipod
but when your ipod is plugged in you just have to drag the podcast to your ipod in the source list (the bar on the left)
does the podcast you downloaded on iTunes work at all?
maybe try downloading another podcast and see if that one works?
Maybe the podcast you downloaded just doesn't work anymore

when you download it, I believe it should transfer to your ipod when you sync it. Check your settings on iTunes though. Subscribing makes iTunes automatically download the latest episode as soon as it's available.
