Bittorrent will continue the download the next time you start the program. You may lose a small amount of the presiously downloaded information, as bt does not save any incomplete sections of the file when shut down. But the lose is at worst 1 to 2% of the download.

If the programme starts when your computer starts then possibly yes. If you leave it open in the system tray (right hand side of the task bar with icons in it) it will still be running.

When you relaunch, Bittorrent will pick up where it left off.
The files will not be deleted.

if you have set your bittorent to start automatically when your PC starts, yes, it will continue to upload (if you have live torrents). generally, you have to start the torrent application to start uploading or downloading.
