Well why don't you enlighten us. Unless the media is lying to us, aren't all the "crazy terrorists" you speak about muslim? If they're not all muslims, then tell us, what religion are they? When I watch my local TV, I don't see any palestinian babies or children shot dead. Actually I never see *any* babies or children from any country being shot dead on TV.

They don't.

They report as Islamic terrorists those terrorists who are - in fact - Islamic. Here in the UK they regularly report on Israeli atrocities, and the UK like most of Europe was opposed to the Israeli war against its neighbour Lebanon.

They also show the absolutely astonishing amount of killing and fighting between Islamic factions - estimated in the region of 1 million deaths in the last 4 years in Iraq. And the bizarre behaviour of Hamas.

Islam's current reputation is - in all honesty - fairly well deserved and the media reports it in the UK in a balanced way. The answer is not to change the media, but to change the behaviour of Islam.

Nobody is bashing Islam. The media is exposing Fanatics that are Exploiting the Good Muslim People. The citizenry of the US is appalled at any violence in the Middle East as soon as the global rebels criminals are all caught or controlled, there can be peace in the world once again. Part of the problem is also a greedy minority in the West that secretly aggravates and exploits the Arabs peoples out of the world public view and that has to be addressed by Gods Holy Angels before this year is over. -Amen!

Because most of the media here in America has a Zionist agenda. Gosh, seems to me there was a lot of Christian violence in N. Ireland. It is also absent the fact that the land Israel is on was taken away from the locals (Balfour Papers) which the media fails to remind the general population of. I guess it isn't required knowledge at the time it happened but it seems to me there was a certain Israeli leader that blew up a hotel full of British soldiers.

If you think that the Muslim religion has no tie to the recent rash of terrorism on democratic countries, you need to open your eyes. This is what concerns us and why you hear about it on the news so much. People from any nation can be terrorist, but they are not the ones who are actively pursuing nuclear materials, to use as a weapon against democratic nations. We cannot force peace between warring middle eastern countries, but we can prevent them from attacking us and we will at all cost.

The media is a set of large corporations. Their only logic, like all corporations, is money. Terrorism is a hot button issue right now. Partly because of the political climate, and partly because the media is consciously fueling the fire, because sensationalism is profitable (and sometimes because of their associations with political actors). They don't really care what the effect on the culture is or, for that matter, whether this fuels dangerous political climates.

Eventually, they'll move on to something else and forget completely about Islam. Everything they take an interest in is transient.

As far as the Palestinian issue, we only hear of it when Mahmoud Abbas does something stupid or Things are fired into Israel....Never the fact that Israel should not even be there to begin with...

I think the media is bashing Islam because of 9/11 that being the worst terrosist attack in history. MY opinion that has nothing to do with muslims. The people who did it just happen to claim to be muslim. Example Trenchcoat mafia when those three boys killed all them people in that school did they say, All white boys are crazy lunatics. NO! They said those specific white boys had issues, not the whole race included. And that is what should have been done for the terrosists attack! Blaim the individuals not the whole religion!
