Ok, last night my right side hurt, not badly, but it did hurt and it never has before. And I felt sick to my stomach. My temp was 89.9, just a hair above normal.

Well this morning I feel fine. Does that mean it is NOT appendicitis, or should I still go to the doctor?

My stomach aches a little when a lean down to pick something up, but so little that it wouldn't bother me. Does this mean anything?

No, it doesn' t mean it's not an irritable appendix. In some cases you can develop what used to be called a chronic appendix. It will flare up and complain, and then settle back down again. Mine was that way for some time before it finally decided we should part ways. It would flare up, and before they could decide to do surgery or not, it would calm down again. They just recommended a wait and see attitude. But when an appendix finally does decide to make trouble, you don't have to ask if something is wrong. You get a pain in the right side that won't go away, vomiting/diarrhea, and a fever. You do not look well at all. Since you already have the appointment, and are not feeling great, it's worth it to let the doctor have a listen and feel. If it is likely to be your appendix, it's easier to have it out before things go really sour than to recover from the after effects of having it burst.

Grumbling appendix, yep had that and not nice. However, the Doc told me not to eat anything for 24 hours, just drink plain water! Then try something like toast and see how it went. This was the way I have dealt with this throughout my life, because the appendix would disappear on just plain water and so I still have it. Good Luck

Pain with apendicitis is normally agony and lasts, but im not an expert. Get it checked as it could be something else that the doctor can advise on
