Hmm, Iiii dunnoooo!

So it's been confirmed. While I know no matter what, Jacko will still have a loyal core fan base, but I don't think it'll play out very well in the US.

I think it'll do better overseas. Too much damage to his rep' has been done.

It was smart of him to lay low & leave the US, but I'm not sure it was long enough.

This should be Really interesting to see how it plays out.

What do you think?

Talkign about his last trial, I cracked UP on the day it began when he hopped up on top of that suv, clapped his hands, spun & danced! I was like, "Oh MAN!- this guy is ....I just don't know. Crazy??!" lol!

I saw some stuff about that, but I thought, nah.. but alas, here it is. Mikey must really be needing some $$. I think it will play out ok, here and overseas. I was glued to Court Tv during his trial thing, and there were swarms of people out there and that was just in that area... I think they should do ok in some of the larger cities. My prediction, Mikey will get sick or something and have to pull out of a ton of shows.

I think that Micheal Jackson having all of these problems is going to help him during this tour.. Who knows? I believe the sympathy clause will come into effect here for some reason.. That or like any other superstar who has done dastardly things, his fans will stay loyal.... Though I am always going to be sickened by what Micheal Jackson has or has not done.. I myself am still a fan of what he has done Music wise.. And I confess if I was in the States I would see this reunion just because I could not conquer my curiosity otherwise...

Interesting. Something tells me the morbid curiosity factor will draw people to this like flies to a Creed album. The tabloid media is sure to have a field day, and that in turn will attract even more attention from the bored trash-TV addicted housewives.

The depressing thing is, with the legacy of the Jackson 5, this should be a huge deal from a musical perspective; but in reality it's going to take on the train wreck aspect as one of those things that you can't help but watch.

I agree, Fonzie. I think this tour would do awesome overseas, but the public here in the States hasn't let anything go. Bygones are not bygones, and I don't know if they ever will be.

I wish this story had a much different ending...what a shame.

I think I would go to the concert if it were true. I can live with Jacko performing, especially if they are all recreating the 70's. I don't know if they would allow him to speak to the audience or if they would let Jermaine do the talking.
