well, if u say that ur 23 and then straight away he says 'oh my godh!! me too!!' then something might b fishy =|
and i dont think a relationship between u and someone who lives in ukraine is really going to happen
my friend went out with a guy on the net who lived in QLD and he turned out to b a 50 year old pedophile
she found out at the airport on her way to see him
but, then again, some of my friends parents actually met on the net and hav been together for a really long time
i guess the only wa to no if its real is if they agree to show u a webcam and if they seem genuinely interested to meet u in a PUBLIC area
hope it helped =]

it's similar to any relationship, you never know, but an example, a friends daughter aged 23 met a guy on line who was also 23, they 'chatted' and exchanged details by e-mail for over a year, they were constantly 'chatting, they eventually arranged to meet, my friend and i were suspicious so we followed discreetly, the guy she met was clearly not 23, in fact he was 48 and after my friend and i 'dealt' with him we called the police, he was a sexual predator who was wanted for 4 sexualy assaults and a rape. There is no sure way of knowing, just ask yourself what sort of person looks for a partner on-line. Please be very careful and always talk to others about it. take care, be safe and good luck.

It is hard to know until you meet and get to know the real person. Anyone can say anything or show any picture they want online. You need to meet them. Don't do it alone, however, always in a public place and have someone with you until you get to know the person well. If there are red flags, get the heck away from them.

i don't trust internet relationships. Sometimes you got people who are just wasting time and not looking for serious relationships. Sometimes a guy pretends to be a girl and vice versa. who knows , maybe that someone u r talking to maybe acting nice but in reality he isn't. he maybe bored and wanna have fun and what if he was a criminal?
On the internet you get all sorts of people from good to bad.
If i was you , i would be very careful.
If you wanna meet someone , meet someone you know , someone you can speak to face to face and not over the net.

Until and unless you meet them in person, this is unreal.

The trauma and drama that it may cause may deserve to be on a movie reel....

A very tiny percentage of on line relationships are safe and turn into in person relationships, and therefore real relationships.

Be very careful, you can be in danger due to on line relationships.

Good luck.
