Or maybe the temperatures haven't gone up in the last 10 years.

Certainly things are happening faster now than they were ten years ago and the key aspect, temperature, has risen faster than at any other time on record. In the last 10 years the average global temperature increased 0.189°C, in the 10 years before that it increased by 0.134°C.
We're also seeing other accelerated changes such as an increase in the rate by which sea-levels are rising (now 3.1mm a year as opposed to 2.6mm a year), record ice loss around the planet (now 880 billion tons a year compared to approx 500).
Coupled with this are of course, record emissions of greenhouse gases. Soon we'll be putting 50 billion tons of them into the atmopshere each year and until the rate of emissions slows down then the environment is going to continue changing at a rapid rate.
There is hope, some countries have already cut their emissions and the UK, where I am, is leading the world in this respect. Emissions are already down, there was to have been a traget set for reducing emissions by 60% but it looks like a new target of 80% will be introduced. If other countries followed suit this would go a long way to reducing emissions.
The reductions achieved so far have, in part, been due to advancements in technology and demands placed on manufacturers of imported products (motor vehicles for example).
It is possible to make a difference but governments, business and the people need to be willing to play their part.

You do realize that man-made global warming is a hoax right? People should consider listening to science and history before they immediately believe what they are told.
The Earth is warming, but only a retard would believe that a change in climate is "unnatural" and "an impending doomsday". Man-mad global warming is the biggest hoax of our generation.

Bad news is we never were in control of the earth. Have we stopped any earthquakes, volcanoes, even a itty bitty tornado? high tide, low tide, tectonic plate drift.

Indeed, the BIG Meltdown has gone 'exponential'.
Perhaps it'll also melt many frozen chosen hearts.
