About 30% who take anti-depressants are like you. There are dozens more you can still try. I take Lexapro and I plan to be off of it in the spring. Sometimes it is good to mix anti-depressants with other medicine.

The side effects are often worse than the disease.

Stop takeing the pills/. I did SSRIs for several years. Never really helped much. And now that I'm not on them I feel fine, but a bit melancholy. Moodiness is a normal human condition. Just live your life. Find some drugs that work. Try herabal remidies.

Just get enough exercise and find something to keep focused on.

I took anti-depressants for 5 years, different kinds and varying dosages and they didn't do ANYTHING to me. I thought I was a freak of nature with them.
I guess they just don't work for some people.
As for a solution I wish I had a magical answer. Meditation tends to calm my mind so I practice that as much as I can.

Yes, if you took it regularly. I have been there taking anti-depressant. What you should do is take control of your life and avoid taking them. I don't take them anymore and try to do something that give you some empowerment such as going for spirit building program. It will overcome your fear and anxiety.

Anti depressants are really only effective for short periods of time. After that you can become addicted and find their effect is becomming less and less. It becomes a vicious circle and you really are better coming off them if you can.

It can be very hard to do but must be worth it in the end.

Good luck.
