for the past 9 or 10 years I have been having a VERY vivid reoccuring dream. I'm aware that it's something I need to deal with or change in my life, but I have absolutely no idea what it is. I only comes when I am very stressed out, usually comes every night for a few nights then goes away, and it seems to be the very first thing that comes to mind when I close my eyes before I fall asleep then I fixate on it untill I fall asleep and have the dream.

The dream is, I pull up down the street from my ex-girlfriends house driving my parents old pickup. It's night time, but very light out. I stop at the end of the street and get out with a very very specific rifle. I use the door frame as a platform and sight in on her husbands car. Just then she walks out, he's in the doorway. She walks to the drivers door of his car and is just getting in...... and thats the end of it. I just watch her walk to the car through the scope and it ends. It's never gone any further at all....

I don't know you personally, so this is just my own guess... Maybe it's that you had something to say to her, and you just let her walk away. Like you're words are the bullet from the gun, you were going to say something, and you just let her walk through the scope without even trying to tell her what you wanted to say.

you only have this dream when you are under stress. l think 10 years ago she caused you much stress or you got much stress from her leaving you..you need to move forward let those memories behind you she is married now be happy for her. maybe you can find someone new who will help you forget her.
l know it is hard l keep having dreams about a girlfriend l had 12 years ago they seem so real but it's like we are together again. sometimes l wake up expecting things to happen but life goes on.just when l think she's clear out of my mind l have another dream.but mine are of romance l would never use a gun. if l were you l would get rid of any guns or wepons you might own don't let this dream become a reality!!!!

You're obviously harboring negative feelings against her. You want to finish her off as you blame her for your problems. You need to forgive her for whatever you blame her..
