I also need help getting Christmas gifts. I'm going to DollarTree, Big Lots, and the 99 cents store to get the gifts I need. I'm going to be creative and put together items to make the gift look complete and nice.

How about making them some sets of juggling balls using balloons and rice? They look professional and kids love them. You could also look for some cheap, basic craft materials. The kids will have fun and learn a lot from these. Spend time being creative with them.
If you have a backyard with a tree, a cheap gift that the kids will think is a big deal is a tyre swing. Get an old tyre for free from a garage, and buy a length of rope to hang it by. Watch you set it up safely, though.
For photos and instructions, for making the juggling balls, as well as lots of other kids craft ideas, check out my website, below.

I would look to cheap options by going to dollar stores.. I would also be asking your local Red Cross Chapter and department stores for help for the holidays. there is nothing wrong in reaching out for help. Have you family that can pitch in? I don't know your circumstances about not receiving child support but I would contact Legal Aid or child services about getting advice to get support.
You can also try craigslist to post an add asking for free items in your local area.
Good luck and have a blessed christmas

have you contact the salvation army, red cross or food banks in your area? They will help you get in contact with a organiztion who can help or they will help you directly. Also if you are a member of a church talk toyour pastor, churchs almost always give presents to those who need them.
Remember that you do not need to spend alot or give a lot for the kids to have a happy christmas, they just need love and care :)
I am sure you will be fine.

gifts are not the most important thing in the world. Yes they are NICE but they are not necessary. If you can't afford to give each of them a gift then get a family gift. If money is that tight, toys are NOT the most important thing.

get creative. can up pick up second hand toys and revamp them? I am re-doing an old dolls house and dolls cradle for my 5 year old daughter. It has cost me $23 in paint and sandpaper and another $15 dollars for some cheap but nice furniture for her dolls from the dollar store. Also getting some cheap, unused fabric to sew up a pretty blanket and pillow for the dolls cradle.
You could also look at other dollar stores, thrift/second hand shops, ebay also has bargains if you look hard enough, garage/yard sales...etc...
christmas doesn't need to be expensive, you just need to use your imagination and get creative.

you could make a coupon book for the kids for example if you limit tv time one coupon can say an extra 1/2 hour of tv. Another can say 1 day of no chores. Another can say I will cook you your favorite breakfast on a saturday. Another can say you can have 1 friend over for 2 hours on a saturday.
make it out of construction paper or computer paper.

Are you in the UK? In which case you should be getting at least Child Support (72.40 every 4 weeks for the eldest, and slightly less for the other two), plus children's tax credits if you work.
I save a little bit of money each month for Christmas presents because we struggle for money but saving a bit each month really helps. Why aren't you getting/using the Child Support?

Having an ex that won't help you support the kids that they helped make is extremely frustrating. My ex is about $4,000.00 behind for our two children. Is there like a Toy for Tots program in your area, or a Christmas tree that has names of kids that need presents?
