I'm having a horrible, horrible pain in my head around the back of my head, my forehead, and behind my eyes. It feels like someone has grabbed my eyes from the back and is squeezing them. It feels like the worst headache i've ever had. Pain medication didn't help much and didn't last long, I feel almost sick, sometimes it peaks and hurts so bad I want to rip my head off... will I be okay until tomorrow or do I need to go to the emergency room?

I would at least call your closest medical facility. And to be honest, probably going to the ER is your best bet. I don't mean to scare you or anything but my best friend had a psuedo tumor and she had pretty much all of those same symptoms...and in some cases, if not caught in time something like that (due to the pressure) can cause people to go blind. I would get checked out ASAP if you have never had this happen before. Chances are, it is just a really bad migraine, but you can never be too safe when it comes to your personal well being.

FIRST OFF, I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
With that having been said, first try to hydrate yourself. Take another main reliever. Now if you are experiencing "floaters" or "vision fading in and out" going dark one moment and then coming back call someone immediately, 911, a friend, a family member, a neighbor. Get to the E.R. and they will have , hopefully an ENT (Ear, Eye, Nose ,Throat) specialist. And they will do a series of tests, which might last from 15min.-60min. Again I am not an health care provider, I only know of one. And unless you came purchase another life for you on E-Bay, what other alternative do you have?

Like most British people the plight of civilians in Gaza: terrorised, ripped apart by indiscriminate bombing, abandoned by world leaders to the Israeli jackals is heart rending. Many churches in Britain have led prayers for the dreadful suffering of Gazans. No there is no ceasefire - only another Israeli ploy to save face having LOST again in Palestine:- Lost the battle (Hamas still fighting back). Lost the fragile moral support Israel may have had now their brutal massacres have been shown to the world; Lost Israeli humanity as the bloodthirsty baying for more and more and more blood from 90% of the Israeli people has shaken decent people around the world to the core. 2 Israeli's accidentally killed , Very minimal damage by Hamas' ineffective rockets yet 5000 hospitalised and over 1000 human beings blown away in Gaza. Hamas now commands great international respect and support for it's attempt to find a way out of the concentration camp Israel corralled their people into. Israelis remember you may kill the children of Gaza but their brothers and sisters still rise up and rout the cowardly IDF with little more than stones and righteousness.

Well there are a lot of reasons why you should at least CALL the ER and speak with a phone nurse about it. You can do this for free! They will advise you over the phone and will most likely tell you go in.

If you have never had this type of headache I would not play around with it.

I think you should go to the ER. Granted, that is pricey and most likely they will just give you an ibuprofen ... BUT I've heard that if you ever get a headache that you describe as "the worst headache I've ever had," which are exactly the words you've used, it could signify something serious.

Sounds like a migraine or cluster headache. Ouch. Go to the emergency room if you cannot handle the pain and they will give you immediate pain relief.

If you have a way to the ER and there's time for them to see you, not one of those where you have to wait five hours, then by all means go.

You can wait till tomorrow, because believe me, it takes such a long time to get through the emergencey room, no matter what time of the day/night it is. Sorry you feel so bad.
