Maybe you are asking too much. Things are only worth what people will pay for them.

Try advertising at local vet offices, pet stores, big pet stores like petco/petsmart, dog groomers etc. If that doesn't work, and you really need to get rid of them, try to find a no kill animal shelter, or rescue agency. Don't just take them to any animal shelter, many put animals to sleep after a short time if they are not adopted.

Well, the beagle is a very athletic breed. Your afternoon walks and evening jogs should be just fine, but make sure its DAILY or else they get wayyy hyper in the house. For you second question, I don’t really get it but if you mean like you wont exercise hi for a month then NOOO WAYYY. Seriously, they can gain weight fast and they will drive you absolutely crazy in the house. Well for the monthly cost, I’m not so sure because then you may have an extra vet visit or something but on the first year, it pup will take up approximately $1000. After that, it’s a little bit less but when it grows into its senior years, its more with all the vet bills. For the check ups, Its once a year but when it’s a puppy, it will go through a series of vet visits for its vaccinations till about 4 months. As for collars, most likely 2 or 3. When it’s a puppy, it will need a small collar. When about 4-6 months, you need to change and one maybe about one year. It depends on the individual dog though. Just make sure that you can easily slip 2 fingers through. If not, adjust the collar to be bigger or get a bigger sized one. Beagles can easily over eat so feeding is important. When you get your puppy, feed it 3– 4 times a day. Then, when I reaches 6 months, feed twice a day. When its about a year old, switch to adult food and feed once a day tho most dogs prefer 2 smaller meals. Its important to switch because if an adult dog eats puppy food, it may have diarrhea. When you switch, do it gradually, not right away. So in the beginning, mix the both of them, adding more adult food each day. *Always remember, never trust a beagle off leash and if you live in the city, you may want to reconsider getting one. They can howl all night long.

Just be careful where they go. Many are used for experiments or train dogs to kill. Try finding a Beagle adoption centre for them. Just stay away from shelters. I don't know where you live but here in Canada you can try to contact BEAGLE PAWS and they may have someone down near you to pick up your Beagles. Or try Facebook or an ad in the newspaper or flyers. As well are you asking too much money for them and if so then try lowering the price.

You could take one of your pups with you to a pet store that allows it- but keep it in a basket and off the ground and don't allow other animals to greet it. Have some cards with you and when people comment on how cute they are, tell them they are needing good homes and that you are interviewing potential new owners by appointment. When people show up, have some little booklets you can get from your Vet by request that document their first set or sets of shots and worming. Also, have the parents pedigrees on hand or photos and provide a standard health guarantee.
You could have a small bag of puppy food of the kind you have weaned them on and a Christmas toy to go with each pup. You could even provide a little booklet on raising a beagle pup.
You could post a good photo of the litter at area stores- on their bulletin boards- with contact info.

Go to petfinder.com
Put in your zipcode and specify "Beagles" . You will find places that take in mostly beagles . They should be able to help you . Other rescue groups will also take Beagles in .
Get your Beagle fixed/spayed !

Note many people who 'adopt' or purchase for low prices , on places like Craig's List obtain them to sell to places that experiment on them . Or WORSE ... Beagles are a favorite training dog to teach pit bulls how to kill because beagles can take a lot of punishment , can't do a lot of harm , and don't make much noise while they are being killed .

I say the best way to sell your dogs is to-
Local ads
No-kill shelters
Ask if you can put a flyer on a pet store & vet where you live so if anyone wants a beagle they know who's selling one.
try asking people in places around there if you can put a flyer up.have signs in ur yard saying beagle dogs for sale.

Good luck trying to sell them...=]

How do you know your son is allergic?

If he's a baby he should be easy to adopt out instead of the dogs ;oP

Have you actually contacted beagle specific rescue groups or are you trying to sell the dogs?

I found our beagle in online newspaper ads for a larger city near my home. Prior to finding the ad for her, I looked in the local newspaper ads online and checked around shelters. You maybe can ask to post an ad with the shelters or at a few vet. clinics.

Try to rehome them with family, friends, acquaintances If you feel your dogs are valuable and trained to hunt then maybe another hunter would be interested. Dawg forbid I ever have to rehome my dogs. Good luck.

If you don't want the dogs find homes for them where they will be well cared for. Sounds like you are a "backyard" breeder that are so detested these days. If you are then you are a big part of the problem of animal over population. Give up the idea of making money on the misery of defensless animals.
