Whats better Acuvue 2 or Acuvue Advanced contact lenses?

Have you used any of them? Which one do you like better? Because the doctor gave me this new sample and everytime when I try to take out my Acuve Advanced with hydroclear lenses, I have hard time taking it off, but Acuve 2 (which I used to wear)is easier to take them out from my eyes. Which one should I get? And do you think I'm having hard time taking the lenses out because the fit size isn't right?

It may be that the difficulty getting them out is due to having dry eyes rather than them not fitting properly. If they were fitted by a properly trained optometrist that shouldn't be the problem. You may need to go to a type of lens that doesn't 'suck up' so much of your tears. I had issues with contact lenses and dry eyes for years. I now use Ciba-Geigy "Night and Day" that are worn for 1 month continuously and I have tolerated them pretty well despite being a +6.5 diopter (about as thick as you can get). Plus you need to consider solutions - you can have a low-level allergy to solution/preservatives without making the connection.
I did try the daily Acuvue and did feel like it was trying to put floppy snot in my eyes.
Just to make it more complicated you also should have been taught the right technique for lens removal. Don't try and grab it from the middle of the lens; use the middle finger to sliide/lift the lens from about 2/3 from the centre area. Whatever you do don't pinch because you may have the conjunctiva (the sensitive surface of the eye). If you don't feel you know enough or are not very confident then you need an eye professional that can discuss/demonstrate these things. I cannot stress how important good eye care is in the prevention of problems and at worst, blindness.
