In general the starting salary of a medical coder can start at 40k and can go as high as 80k. It all depends on the number of certifications and specialities that you have under your belt and also the years of experience you have.

...That depends on "where" you're Starting... Here in AZ -it's around 35K - but back East I'm sure it's alot higher...
