Eyelashes take about four to eight weeks to grow back. A new eye lash will grow back in the hair follicle and replace the old one.

lol funny story is that when i was younger i actually got the scissors and cut my eyelashes. I didnt cut them all the way off but i was curious so i just trimmed them a little. I know that it was one of those things though that if you looked at them you could tell and not that im older they look back to normal so im sure they have to grow back:)

Not true.
Your eyelashes fall out all the time --- every day, in fact. They are constantly regrowing. If you happen to pull all of them out, they take between 30-90 days to completely grow back.

Everything about your body evolved for it's survival. You couldn't survive very long if you lost your eyelashes. Without eyelashes you couldn't keep dirt out of your eyes, then you'd lose your eyesight, stumble around, die and become extinct, just like the Dodo bird did.

No its not true same with your eyebrows people say they dont grow back but they do. I know because one time i tried lighting a BBQ and it blew up on me and burnt my eyelashes off but today they are back it only took a few days too.

Not that's not true. They grow back
Ex: My granny had a eye surgery, nurse had removed her eye lashes with and after a month her lashes have grown normally.
Normally we loose few eye lashes in a month but they grow back normally.
