I went and got a vasectomy doneabout 8 years ago when I was 24. Throughout the years I have explained that if you want children then I'm not the one for you, however I don't just bust out with vasectomy. Several times I've had girls try to scare me by lying about pregnancies and I've also had women who have told me that they'll be able to change my mind. At both of these cross roads I explain why they are wrong which invariably ends the relationship. Do women really believe that I'm a liar or are they just not hearing what I am saying?

Protik: Is that all women are interested in? If so I'd be willing to adopt as soon as I achieve the salary of $140 K. Then I could provide the necessary amenities to it. What's wrong with that?

Simply put..I'd tell them that you are not interested in creating your own biological children, so much in fact that you opted to have a vasectomy several years back. This will not only show them how serious you are on the subject, but it will show YOU who's really interested in being with you "for you", and not just for what you can "give them" (ie: impregnate them). If a woman truly loves you for who you are, not being able to produce a child (in this case, intentionally so) will not be a deciding factor in how they feel about you.
No, you're not a "liar"..but you SHOULD further make your point by telling them. If a woman still is of the opinion that you are still fertile, it could give them a sense of false hope. Nip that in the bud, right from the start. Then, leave it up to them to decide. If the relationship is meant to be..it will be. If not, then she probably wasn't worth having in the first place. I
Believe it or not, there are MANY women out there that have no desire to become mothers. My aunt, for one, does not want children...and HAS never. I believe that this is why she and my uncle have such a good marriage (he doesn't want kids either..he likes them, but they're not for him).

One in five women, in the USA, don't want children. The problem is most don't know that until they are about 40. They are the only ones I date. If you can find one, then you have it made.
If not, then keep your mouth shut, until you are 40. I can tell you from personal experience that women over 40, that don't want kids are much easier to find.
When I was in my late 20's I was considered uneatable by most women. So if you want to get laid, shut up.
BTW: It does not harm the woman in any way, if you don't tell her you had a vasectomy. What is she going to do, sue you? Hahaha. That might make a good legal question. I think I will post it.

yes, they'll believe you are a liar and waste all their energy hoping you will change your mind, so if you get involved in a serious relationship and somehow the topic or marriage and children pop up...you can't keep that a secret...

It is wrong. Telling them that you don't want children and telling them that you have had vasectomy are completely different things. Just be clear cut about your condition. I doubt, however, that anyone will ever date you if they came to know about it.

Tell them about the vasectomy... especially someone you would marry, that would be a disaster to find out later...

I had one and never had children. My former room-mate had one when he was 21. He never had children. He had someone tell him she was pregnant, even though she knew he had one.
I will never tell the women I date that I had one. I think that is his philosophy as well.
