I gave all the evidence to the police at my school and they said they are ready to make an arrest against the student that stalked me and sent terrorizing messages.......but now I am getting scared! I just know that if he knows I went to the police he will retaliate and make my life miserable. He also has to sit through a judicial review at my school, and he will use it as an opportunity to slander me and say I am a slut whore that wanted him........or he will tell the police I am a drug addict or prostitute or something......What should I do? I want to do it to protect all the women in the future that may be terrorized by him......I just hate all the names.....I hate being called fat, ugly, and slutty by him. At the judicial review he will turn it all around and say I am a psycho path. What should I do? Has anyone out there ever had a stalker arrested or made charges against someone that abused you.....Will I have to testify in court? Or will they just use my statements.......?

Thanks all !!! I am DEFINATELY going to have him arrested....Ok question about when I have to testify....Will I have the benefit of talking to a court appointed attorney or will the prosecuter help me and tell me what to expect from the defense attorney? What kinds of questions will they ask me? Is there some kind of advocate that the court appoints to help me through this? I am scared!!

If the guy gets arrested and pleads guilty, you will not have to go to court. If he pleads not guilty and does not accept a plea deal, then you will most likely go to court if there is a trial. Since this sounds like a serious case with a potential for violence if it continues, you should definitely follow through with the case and get him convicted. Imagine if you did nothing and the guy continues stalking you or someone else, then hurts or kills someone. If you do nothing, then there is a greater chance that this guy will do something bad against you or someone else.

The stalker is all about controlling you. If you don't take that control away from him, he simply continues to rule your life. The cops and the courts know all about the lies guys like to try. They will not be fooled and he is simply nailing his own coffin shut. If you drop everything now, you will simply encourage him to continue his abuse.

Just state what you know. Don't let that loser intimidate you because he will then get away like many of them do. I commend you for stepping up. Who cares what he says he is nobody but a crazy punk! Don't let him put fear in your heart, you should only be afraid of God and clearly he is not Him.

Do not be afraid of the stalker because he will be more aggressive to scare you. Be strong and prevent anything that he does so that he will not succeed.
