I was having back pains every morning for about a month. I had heard that ginger was a natural anti-inflamitory so I started drinking a strong fresh ginger tea and withing about 3 days I have NO pain.
Does anyone else have experience with natural "cures" that can be incorporated easily into a normal diet? Any experiences are appreciated. I am especially interested to hear if anyone can point to specific benefits they have had with garlic, calcium or ceyanne pepper

I'm Sorry. I should have been more specific. I mean normal but often overlooked foods that have curative effects or aid in the body healing itself. Not pills or drugs. I would love to live without needing to take a pill.

Vitamine C is a popular suppliment. It is supposed to do lots of things, but a lot of doctors get into tiffs about what to believe and not to believe. I've never heard of it HURTING though. Remember to report anything you take when you go into the doctor, herbal supplements mixed with prescription drugs can have horrible side effects!

I wouldn't take any natural pain relievers for anything without the doctors consent. You may take a drug like this for one problem but, create another.
