He's right, not true, they were spirtualist if anything, and an overly comformed organized religion doesn't leave much room for open-mined scientist to do their job. So they had to see something a little deeper then the ORGANIZED verision I think your thinking, they were, as I said, forced to be more spirtual about it, but when your looking at things the bible never even pretended to mention, humility comes with the territory....
