At night, any gentle fash wash, followed by any salicylic acid astringent, followed by a benzoyl peroxide (10%) cream. (Let it dry, it WILL bleach your sheets. In the morning, exfoliate, followed by any gentle fash wash followed by witch hazel (tones skin) followed by any moisturizer (to balance out the acne medications and because it is important--just find one that is right for you, it will take you a while to find one that doesn't break you out. ) AND DRINK WATER. All the medication will dry your face out. drink at least 64 ounces a day otherwise your face will be clear, but it will peel. I have been doing this for years and my persistant acne doesn't stand a chance. (And keep your hands off your face, watch yourself if you rest your face on your hand, you'll notice you break out there more.)

my son has been using pine tar soap for a lil over a month now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks.
