I always hear you Christians go around boasting how grateful you are for Jesus' sacrifice.

You say that Jesus is so gracious by sacrificing Himself for your sins. You say that He love us so much that He was willing to spled His own blood for our sins.

Yet all that Jesus every was, was a man.

Him being crucified is just a tale without any witness or evidence whatsoever about that actually happening.

That is why I am so perplexed about you Christians cherishing and getting goose bumbs boasting about a made up incident.

Really weird I have to say oO.

Why do you ignore the truth. "Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus is the Son of God. You are wrong about witnesses. There were 500 witnesses to His Resurrection. There are history books that contain His name. The calendar reflects His coming. You can visit where he lived, died, and rose again. It is you who denies the truth.

This is a very difficult question to answer. It would be easy for me to say it's in the Bible. Easy for me, but not for you because the Bible is not where you go for answers. Christians are provided with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit so it becomes easy for us to believe and to follow. But, until a person accepts the beckening of the Spirit, he is pretty much on his own. Christians are people who decided to step out in faith that what they are being told about Jesus is true. Then the Spirit guides and teaches from there. In the scriptures God makes the statement that our ways and our thoughts are not His ways or thoughts. It would have been easier in my version if the Holy Spirit dwelled within for awhile and then we could make up our minds about whether or not we believed. But then I don't have His wisdom. Also the system of being saved by faith would not have the value that it currently has. Yes, we christians do get a little zealous at times, and frankly I can understand why you find it strange. I would dare say you believe in history. Lets say, about ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. That's probably because it came from history books and not the Christian Bible which you have chosen to refer to as a tale. Then I would suggest you begin your understanding of what Christians do from history books. There have always been men who have written down what is going on as the historic time events happen. Go read the complete works of Josephus or Pliny. For instance, if the Bible is a made up tale, then how did it correctly describe who and how Babylon would fall one hundred years before it happened according to historical records and not the Bible. History will tell you that certain symbols represent countries. You may know that England is the Lion, Russia is the Bear, and of course you know that Amereica is the Eagle. Did you know that there was a push to get our National bird to be the turkey? Prominent men of power and position lost out to the decision of the Eagle. The Bible descibes these symbols long before many of these countries became powers. History states that there was the Persian Empire, then the Greeks, and then the Roman Empire. The Bible named these long before they came into existence. I would like to say that I was a blind leader of great faith and became a christian. The truth is, I am a history buff and it is history proving the Bible that led me to believe. Then came the indwelling of the Spirit and my faith grew from there. As a final thought, as I study what I have come to believe as true I have never come across instructions to go ye therefore and convict. I have however found many instructions about sharing what I have come to know. What someone else does with the info is up to them. So therefore I do not offer this response as an effort to change your mind or to say I am right and you are wrong. I simply ask you to keep asking yourself and others questions. Also, even if you can't see any reason for our christian zeal; I hope that you will lend us a little lattitude as we share the world together.

What religion (if any) do you follow? Do you believe every single story that comes from it? Do you have proof that any of it ever really happened? No, you probably don't. Christians don't have any proof either. The human need to believe in something greater that itself is what it is all about. We don't want to think that there is nothing else, that we're all alone. Having a belief system is what grounds us.

Humans crave to believe in something. Thats why people in the past worshipped the sun, rocks and trees. That is also why cults exists.

Leave them to praise their rocks or cult leader. If the uneducated refuse to be educated then leave them to do their own thing.

Don't make yourself look like the bad guy just because you're not as disillusioned as they are.

I believe what you are doing is called blaspheme. The only reason why you are confused is because God is working on you right now. You are hungry for his knowledge. If you didn't really care you would not wonder why we believe what we believe. I was just like that. I used to say, " If the bible is full of metaphors why do they take the lake of fire literally?" Still no answer but my love for God will not change. I know he will answer all of my questions in due time. Try reading the bible for yourself. It is actually good. It is full of lies, murders, sex, scandals, horrors you name it. Just like any other book.

Jesus was both fully a man and fully God. That you can only believe if God chooses to reveal that to you. As Peter said to Christ; “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven'. (Matthew16:16,17)

now be honest, how many so-called friend's, you have! would actually die for you, the world was made by him and the world knew him not. and by the way you said what you said you don't know him either! but in your case, I guess it is easier to mock the LORD, than to be a real man and say I truly believe in the SON of GOD!!

I'm not a Christian, but the answer to this question is obvious to me. Christians believe Jesus is divine. You can disagree, but why act intolerant?

If you really want to know what we believe is true, ask Jesus to show you. He will and then you will believe and understand that He died for your sins also. He is good all the time to me.
