start running short distance or jogging long distance every other day for the next 3 months.. forget all the muscle building exercise like push-up and crunches, they're only good if you're doing them correctly and hard core anyways
Edit: As long as you're doing this... you can eat as much as you want. Just remember to keep up the routine jogging.

I recommend Tom Venuto's Burn the fat concept. No B.S. One thing from your comments.. if you limit your calories your body will just get more efficient. The only way you can burn fat is to create an energy deficit through diet and excercise i.e. burn more calories than you consume. What Venuto suggests is keep track of what you eat, eat foods that take longer to digest to avoid insulin spikes which lead to hunger pangs. The less processed the food, the better. Calculate what your target weight loss is.. figure 3600 calories to lose a lb. A healthy target is 1-3 lbs/ week, so adjust your diet and excersise accordingly. A good tool is a website like food flash to track your intake and calories, find one that works for you. It shouldnt cost you anything

dont look at the scale- start measuring yourself and tracking results that way. Muscle is more dense that fat so as long as you are losing inches you are doing fine.
find daily calorie intake calculator, enter your stats and find maintenance intake- take off 400-600cal and you will lose eating that much a day.
use fitday.com to track your intake
eat 5-6 small meals a day -make healthy food choices - complex carbs, lean protein, healthy fats, dietary fiber (5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day) etc.
cardio is the only fat burning exercise, 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week
at least 8 glasses of water a day
no candy, junk/fast food, fried food, nothing made out of white flower, no processed foods, no sodas

I seriously don't know why anyone would run to lose weight, it makes absolutely no sense to me. Well...I guess if you can't afford a gym membership it's the next best way, but if you're going to a gym then using a stationary bike would be so much better.
Advantages? You can better control your heart rate. KEY TO LOSING WEIGHT. The reason people say to run, is because it increases your heart rate. but biking does that too, with the added benefit of not impacting your joints, being more space efficient, and allowing for better effort modification (crappy word choice on my part but w/e)
If you want to accelerate the fat-burning then build some muscle, it'll help you burn fat during everyday activities.

I doubt you'll lose weight, but you will be healthier.

O.K - for diet u sound OK, just maybe cut down on carbs a bit and eat from all food group, try to cut down ur calorie intake. I think your main problem is that your not doing enough cardio. Pushups and crunches build muscle, not help u burn fat and calories and lose weight. Try jogging, going to the gym and using treadmill or elyptical or running stairs. wrks for me! good luck! oh and remember to try and sweat once a day. basically - eat less exercise more is a good guidline

Crunches and Push-Ups wont make you lose weight....You need to RUN.....RUN FOREST RUN !!!! Also just eat healthy at breakfast, moderate at lunch, and stop eating after a certain time at night.
