I have a 2005 4 wheel drive 4Runner. Does this mean it's always in 4 wheel drive or do I have to put it in 4 wheel drive? There's a 4High and a 4Low button thingy...

Nope, it is not in 4 Wheel Drive. You must Activate it.

You much choose to press the button ONLY when you need it. Do NOT leave it on during normal driving. If you do so, it will wear out the SUV and cause it to break. You should only have it on if you are in slippery snowy conditions, climbing rocks, or doing other off road stuff.

Read the Owners Manual and it should tell you everything you need to know.

all the 4runners starting 2003, the new generation is full time 4 wheel drive, you don't have to do anything, the dial should be on 4 HIGH as always, 4 LO is for more torque, towing purpose, not for normal driving.

You must put it in 4 WD. I would suggest you get an owners manual so you know how to do it properly and not break anything.

i could say save the C4.... the wintry climate in To. isn't that undesirable. it snow a touch yet with ice tires from Pirelli, Michelin or Continental you should have little hardship getting round. basically be confident to go away her contained in the storage in the course of the blizzard... tele-go back and forth instead!
