No, it isn't good for you at all! You will lose weight initially, but when you stop the liquids and go back to eating solids, you will gain it all back! Not to mention the risks to your health and body.
The best way to lose weight is to eat whole healthy foods, keep a food journal of everything you eat or drink with the amount of calories, reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories a day (should be 1200 - 1500), and increase your caloric burning by 500 calories a day. You can figure your caloric needs per day by going to http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/calorie-calculator/NU00598 just imput your height, weight, age, and sex and it will tell you how many calories you burn at rest. Using this method you will lose about 2 pounds a week and you will be able to keep that weight off for good!

Any drastic change to your diet like this is going to wreak havoc on your digestive system. Expect lots of diarrhea. Also, your body can actually go into "storage" mode, which means your system senses that something is wrong and your metabolism goes way down. I've done this before and lost about 5lbs but its all water weight and it comes right back.
You're better off to eat 5 small meals a day to boost your metabolism and drink lots of water.

only diet you can follow every day of your life is a good one- you have to change lifestyle (make healthy food choices and exercise) to lose weight because only permanent changes will give you permanent results.
You will lose weight on "liquid diet" (although it ridiculous, lol) but regain when start eating normal again.

i tried a liquid diet for a few days and my body went isane-my heart was beating extremely fast, i couldn't walk, i felt like i was going to throw up, and i had cold sweats so bad that my clothes were soaked...i would avoid starvation diets. you have to find the best diet for you, it's different for everyone.

No! That is called a crash diet. That is never healthy for you. Eat sensibly. Eat in moderation, smaller portions more often. Eat healthy foods such as high protein and high fiber.

Here's the secret to weight loss:
Eat less and move more.
Just eat a third less than you normally do on your plate. Exercise.
