honestly...try deep breathing, stretching like you would before a sport, yoga, jogging, that will help with the physical symptoms of anxiety. try writing in a journal to help with your mental thoughts. ok thats what every doctor has ever told me. i make lists of what i need to do and what iplan to do each day. i listen to music that is soothing and i watc the tv show friends. friends is a show i know byheart and its relaxing to me becuase ive seen it so often that it puts me to sleep. try it with a familiar movie or tv show. you basically find what works best for you and do it. hope that helps. make sure you dont drink too much caffine or eat foods witha lot of caffine. carbs will also tend to give you an extra bit of nergy so lay off of them a little bit too. decaf! sleep 8 hours a night but no more no less...the key is routine and making sure to take time for yourself.

one of the best ways i know to cope with anxiety and worry is to remove the pressure that you are putting on the thing you are worrying about by telling yourself that it's ok no matter how things turn out. que sera, sera, what will be, will be. some folks get comfort in believing that everything happens for a reason, or according to God's plan. if you can tell yourself that kind of thing, then it can remove a lot of your anxiety. also you can do physical exercises like deep breathing and trying to focus on calming things. living in the present, not worrying too much about something that hasn't happened yet and also, being prepared, if you're prepared for something, like a speech, you will be much less nervous when it happens.

Having anxiety can be extremely debilatating. You need to get to a therapist or psychiatrist ASAP! And remember that you'll have to shop around for the one that suits you best0like makes you at ease and feel heard.
A trick though for an anxiety attack- ICE!
When you feel the attack coming on or are in the thick of it, grab onto some ice, sit on the ground preferably with your back against a wall, and grab on and squeeze those suckers! The burn of it will snap you back into the present in no time. Trust me-it works! Good luck :)

Kabbalah helps me. A sense of 'knowing' things will be OK, that things are happening for a reason and that although I can't see or explain it right now, there is a reason for this 'pressure' thats being put on me. All things that happen to me is for my own good, my own personal knowledge and experience. Nothing can really harm me, but me.

After saying all that, I still worry sometimes LOL Just don't let it get to you too much, remember that there is ALWAYS a tomorrow and today will NOT last forever.

I suggest find finding God, but if that does not float your boat try pampering yourself and taking a vacation. I usually take long bubble baths with inspirational music softly playing. No kids, No husband, No boss, No one just me and my waterproof vibrator!! LOL
