I have to begin by saying that this question is like so many others here on Answers, and it often hurts. Not all Christans are the same. Not all Christians are hypocrites. Not all Christians are rude. Not all Christians believe in only half of the Bible. Everyone sins. Everyone has weakneses, and no one is exactly alike. This may get lengthy, but let me tell you a story.

There was a man who went to church, and every Sunday morning on his way to church, he invited his neighbor. The neighbor was a quilt maker who sat on her porch and practiced her art day in and day out. The neighbor always answered, "I'm not going to that house of hypocrites." He would move on.

This went on for several months. Finally, the man went to the neighbor's house one day and asked to buy a quilt. The nieghbor was delighted. She displayed all of her lovely quilts fro him to see. He looked them all over and saw an unfinished one in pieces lying in a corner. He handed her the money and took the unfinished quilt.

A few moments later, the neighbor looked out her window and saw on the man's porch her unfinished quilt displayed for all of the neighborhood to see. She couldn't believe it. Everyone in town knew he had gotten that quilt from her. She stormed over to his house, "You can't do this. You chose the unfinished one. People are going to think that all of my work looks like this."

"In the same way," the man said. "Please don't judge all Christians by the poor experiences you've had."

The Bible in its entireity was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Everything is it should be taken into account. The Holy Spirit led and inspired the apostles Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as they wrote the words Jesus spoke just as It led and inspired Paul to write everything he wrote. It all is important.

Maybe I don't fully understand your question. I don't know of any time that Paul contradicts what Jesus says. If anything, he only encourages others to heed the words Jesus spoke. If all he wrote only is to lift the name of Jesus and encourage others in His name, I don't really understand what you mean. I hope I've helped you with your question in some way.

Religion is a quest to find God and for man to understand himself. However, with the acceptance of Jesus, we are granted the keys to Heaven by grace. Christians are the only ones who do not have to try and "work" their way into Heaven. However, being a Christian, and following the Bible examples for right living are two different things. It is stated "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak". There is no perfect person that walks this planet.

How did you come up with that? We do not follow the opposite, we try to follow it closely, but we are all human and everyone sins. We all fall short of the glory of God. That's in the Bible, Romans 3:23.

Sick question !!!

A. Some would depart from the faith and go into devil worship-1 Tim 4:1.

B. People would mock about the last days and not believe-2 Pe 3:3; Jude 18.

C. People would become lovers of themselves-2 Tim 3:1,2. Remember the TV commercials—"I do it for me"?

D. People would be disobeying their parents-2 Tim 3:1,2.

E. People would be grateful for nothing-2 Tim 3:1,2.
F. Homosexuality would increase-Lk 17:28,30; ref Gen 19:5; Ro 1:24,26,27.
G.

People would be without self-control in sex-2 Tim 3:1,2,6; Rev 9:21, Lk 17:28,30; Jude 7. Is this not the great sex generation?

H. People would love pleasures more than God-2 Tim 3:1,2,4. This is true. Shall we go on a picnic, watch football, or sleep. Church?—we can go another time. Our American motto "In God we trust" has become a joke. Remember, these were all predicted centuries ago as part of the signs that we are at the time of the end.

I.People would be taking drugs-Rev 9:21. The Greek word for sorceries, in Rev 9:21, means pharmaceuticals or drugs. God’s Word is 100% right on every one. That’s 6 out of 6. How could you have any doubts at this point?

Note: Fifty years ago, many people seldom locked their doors at night. There was little or no profanity on television, radio, or in the movies. One of the biggest problems in public school was gum chewing. Those days are long gone.

There is hope on the horizon, check out the future below !!!

#1: The Rapture Of The Church (This could happen now) 1 Thess. 4:15,17; 1 Cor. 15:51,53

#2: The Judgment Seat Of Christ (This will happen in heaven where believers will be judged according to their works and receive or lose rewards. 2 Cor. 5:10; Romans 14:10-12

#3: The Marriage Of The Lamb (This will happen in heaven) Rev. 19:7

#4: The Seven Sealed Book - The Crisis (This will occur right after the rapture) Rev. 4

#5: The Tribulation (Known also as: Jacob's Trouble & Daniel's 70th week)

#6: The Second Coming of Christ (Will be visible and invincible) Rev. 1:7

#7: The Millennium (The Reign of Christ on Earth For one-thousand years) Rev. 20:4

#8: The Final Revolt Of Satan - Revelation 20:7,9

#9: The Great White Throne Judgment (Where Sinners Are judged and cast into the lake of fire) Rev. 10:11,15

#10: The Destruction Of This Present Earth And Surrounding Heavens 2 Peter 3:10,11

#11: The New Creation Of Heaven And Earth - Revelation 21:1

IF YOU WANT A SECURE FUTURE DO THE FOLLOWING !!!

[Rom 5:8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[1John 1:8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[1John 1:9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[Rom 10:9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[Rom 10:10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[Mat 10:32] Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Actually, I notice that a lot of their prejudice comes from the bible. The rest is just cherry picked to support whatever issue has appeared without reference to the bible.

Example: Leviticus: Homosexuality is an abomination - kill them. Shellfish is an abomination. Don't eat it.

Contemporary Christian Response: Leviticus says Homosexuality is evil. Pass laws that favor straight people!

Example: "I knew you in the womb. Pay a woman money if you cause a miscarriage."
Contemporary Christian Response: Ban all abortions in the country! They are murder.

It's all about picking and choosing while keeping the spirit of judging intact.

You mean why do Muslims follow the exact opposite of the Bible? Allah says 'God has no son' so Muslims reject the Christian claim that Christ is God. Therefore the Muslim God is not the same God as the Christian God.

This questions perfectly portraits how the slippery christians avoid questions they can't find a straight anwer to. Although your question is poorly written, it is perfectly understandable to anyone with descent English proficiency, let alone native speakers. "Why do Christians always follow the exact opposite of the Bible", is what he meant to say. Now(Christians) that you know the question, answer it accordingly.

Because you have the problem of identifying who are the real Christians. Catholic? Protestants? Who? Because most of these blocks are not strictly following the bible.

Why dont you take a look at our faith: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iglesia_ni_Cristo
