Question

.......that wore a hijab (a traditional Muslim headcovering)?

I use to wear this plus the long body covering because I had to hide my body and act modestly. I don't any more (I was never very religious), and I dress like any woman in the States would. When I did I had the exact same personality that I do now, when I dress more modern. But now guys pay a lot more attention to me. This is me now (I'm 19):

This just goes to show that Muslim women can be attractive underneath what it is she is wearing.

So back to my original question:

Would you ever date a woman that wore the traditional hijab?

You are extremely beautiful.

It's my view that most guys would think of you as off limits or as very conservative if you wore the hijab in an average American city. Most of them probably assume you would not have a relationship without marriage or would only be interested in Muslim men. Some might also feel uncomfortable by the more radical groups in Islam, which the hijab is associated with.

LOL It's obvious you don't really care about the question you asked, you just used it as a pretense to show yourself off and try to get some compliments. Sure guys pay a lot more attention to you, you look like any shallow s!ut that are a dime a dozen here in the States, whereas before you were completely draped in a sheet. OF COURSE muslim women can be attractive under their hijab, isn't that part of why they have to wear them? So they don't tempt and distract men?

Perhaps in USA it's possible for a non-muslim man to date a muslim woman wearing a hijab and not get killed by her relatives. But even in USA on a date like that, I'd be looking over my shoulder just in case.

In many muslim countries this kind of dating would be seen as an offence to Islam and a violation of family honor. And either the lady's relatives would kill both the guy and the lady. Or the police would arrest them both and keep them in jail for a long, long time.

That ALL depends on the guy hon.
A woman who shows off her body WILL get more attention from guys because it is an advertisement for free sex and no commitment as far as they are concerned.Women do NOT like hearing this, what they want to hear is that the guys all are in "love" with them at first sight and that the woman has 100% control through manipulating his lust.
Unfortunately thats a 2 way street and there are many unwed mothers out there due to the myth they can control a man for life through their sexual prowess.
A guy who is looking for a girl with high moral standards may want one that is attractive, and he may find many a hoochie attractive, but would never marry one, because he doesnt want to have to badger her into wearing clothes when she goes out in public.He will also respect a woman who doesnt "flaunt it" ,whereas guys do not really respect women who "flaunt it" because they give off the wrong image, and the guys know all these tricks women are using to get them interested and they play along to get what they want, and that's free sex without a commitment.

I happen to be in contact with many Muslims in my day to day work and i consider many of them to be my friends. And sure i happen to notice many women wearing the hijab [never knew that was the word for it though till now!!] but i must admit i find it somewhat exotic ,mysterious , attractive and somehow even sexy. But on the other hand it is a little reminiscent of a nuns habit but maybe that is the intention!

1. wen guys look at u with bad intension in ther mind ...
2. or do u like it wen guys look at u with a sort of respect in ther mind.
if it is the first option then ur iman is very weak n u need to actually understand the essence of islam ... islam is a very beautiful religion n none of its principles r taught in vain . everythin has a meaning to it lest u have an ability to understand ...its sad to hear such comment from a muslim lady .... the only thing i suggest is to read the quran n understand its meaning n try to ponder on wat it has to say .
do not let filthy minds from among ur frens or surroundings corrupt ur mind .
if u think guys shud look at u n respect u then , resume wearing the hijab again .

Personality counts, but if your point is the physical attractiveness factor, well, who cares how attractive a person is if you can't see it? Of course people will pay a lot more attention to you. Would you date someone if you didn't know how they looked?

Absolutely I would. I know a beautiful woman in class who wears a hijab and she is proud of her heritage. It shows that she was pride in her faith and has great respect for her people.

girl, you are hot! but i would date someone based on their personality....no b.s. your looks are an added bonus, but it has to start with the personality for me. looks fade after a while, but the person inside last forever.....

note to good looking girls who give attitude: you all can go to hell. i will not meet you there.

i would take an average looking person who is warm, kind and funny any day over someone who is hot outside, but intolerable inside.

my answer -- yes, I would date someone wearing the traditional hijab....but too bad, i am already married and happy.

sorry im a girl but you are very pretty!! If i were a guy i would date you if you wore a hijab. as long as you looked like that underneath it!
