a concerned friend told me that if i want to tighten my pores i should separate an egg white and beat it then apply it on my face for 30mins. is that true???

Well possibly, because I do know that it is a good home remedy for clearing up acne. You could try it, it won't hurt. Try grannymed.com! They have lots of home remedies! :o)

That's a myth.
It really does nothing for tightening your pores.

umm i never heard of that but its a egg white so it wont hurt your skin so give it a try and see. but i dont think it would caue it made of protein so it would plump your skin not tighten

i heard that to i never tryed it though. Why don't you try it and see if it works no harm in that. search on smartskincare.com you might find your answer.
