Do you think Is should gain weight? I'm just talking a few pounds.

I'm 4' 11'' ALMOST 5', I'm in the 9th grade, I'm a girl, and I weigh 92 pounds.

I was 95 lbs. just a few weeks ago and my doctor said I was good. For some reason I lost a few pounds. I've been like this (gaining and losing a few pounds) for a a month or two now. Should I gain a few pounds? What should I do to stay healthy?

I'm a junior, 5'6" and 100 lbs.
Don't try to gain weight, it NEVER worked for me, escpecially if you have a faster metabolism. You eventually grow into your figure. You probably are healthy, just smaller.

You are probably fine. As long as you are eating healthy, getting an appropriate amount of exercise, etc and don't have an eating disorder of some kind, you're probably just naturally skinny (or slim, if you don't like the word skinny hehe). I was taller than you at your age (5'8''), and weighed only about 10-15 pounds more...and I was perfectly healthy. Others will probably disagree, but if you feel healthy and your doctor says you're healthy, then you're fine. Sometimes your weight fluctuates at this age, also depending on the time of day that you weigh yourself you might weigh more or less. You will likely put on some weight over the next few years or so (I didn't really gain any weight unitil I was in grade 12, and now I'm in my 20's and my weight has been stable at 120-give or take for a long time). Don't try to gain weight for the sake of gaining weight or because people are teasing you for being skinny. You know what's right for your own body.

if you dont have much muscle, 100 pounds is a good weight. i would say dont worry about it. have you been weighing urself at the same time? That changes results. if ur eating the same and this is happening on its own, u should talk 2 a doctor about it. but if you feel too thin, u could just be an ectomorph, which means thats just ur body type.

You're fine...as long as you're naaturally that thin ( like me)and don't have an eating disorder. I'm 16, i'm 5'2 and i weigh 92 lbs. I have a fast metabolism and it's like impossible for me to gain weight. So...no i don't think you should try to gain weight. i mean if you do on accident, then that's totally okay.but just do your normal routines and don't worry about it if you're healthy.

make sure your not like a model or a sumo wrestler. use a BMI online, maybe several because some are different than others, and find what the average answer they gave you is. I suggest going on google and searching, "kids BMI" because one of the websites is very detailed. Good luck!

I think you're pretty average. If you feel healthy and completely comfortable, then just stay the way you are. If you feel a little weak sometimes, then eat a little more than you usually would.

Nope. My girlfriend is your height and weighs 90lbs. She is also 26 years old. She does just fine.

To stay healthy, exercise and keep watching what you eat.

First of all, you are still a growing kid. You should not worry about dieting. You doctor says you are healthy, you should trust him. Be a kid and enjoy life.
