He'll be moving about 7 hrs away for around 6 months.

We've only been dating for a couple of months but I'm devastated.

I've told him I'd come and visit but something deep inside of me feels like I'm losing him.

To top it all off, I've just realized how much I care this guy.

How do I cope?

Your feelings are natural for what is happening to you, It almost feels like he's picking moving over your relationship, right? Talk to him, even though it'll be hard. Ask him if he wants to continue with the relationship, or if he wants to break things off. If he thinks it should end, just cope with it however you can. However if he wants to continue the relationship, think hard about it before deciding for or against it. Long distance relationships take work, they are not easy. You're going to feel separated from him, and incredibly lonely at times even. But this can make it even better when you get to see him--"distance makes the heart grow stronger", as they say. Any way it goes, remember that it's all for the best. Everything happens for a reason, never doubt yourself.

If it's only been a couple of months and he'll only be gone for a little while. Compared to what the spouses of serivce men and women who are serving abroad have to go through this is a snap. Just keep it in perspective.

well depending on your age and how much you really like this guy, offer moving there with him. and if that isnt an option for you then i would evaluate your relationship with him and see if it is truely worthh the work, if so then go see him have him, come see you talk on the phone alot, and if you dont feel that it is worth it, then m,aybe you guys should just be frriends
