At school today, I got a call from the assistant principal. A group of my friends (unknown) told him about some bruises on my arms. I went down to the office, and he asked if he could see them. I told him what happened. "I was having a pillow fight with 5 of my cousins and we were throwing eachother off the bed. If you think my parents did this, please think again. They would never hurt me." He looked suspisciously saying,"Yes, but it looked like someone grabbed you on the side of your arm." I told him we were playing pretty rough when we probably shouldn't have. I hope my parents don't get in trouble for something they didn't do. I have another meeting with him tomorrow (not sure why). What should I do?

As long as you are totally honest with him, then there shouldnt be a problem.
Let your parents know, so maybe they can go with you.
I personally dont see how you can get bruises from a pillow fight, mustve been some serious fun going on.
Just be honest!!!!

I'm working under the assumption that you have have been completely honest here.

TELL YOUR PARENTS! DO IT RIGHT NOW!
TALK TO AN ATTORNEY!
Do not go to the meeting at school until you speak to an attorney. I'm not sure if you should go to school until you have done so.

Your school faculty is required by law to report any 'potential' child abuse. One or more social workers will probably attend your meeting tomorrow. They will be very pleasant people. You know, the kind that are easy to talk to.

They have been told by your school that you have "injuries consistent with child abuse" or something like that. Their job is to find child abusers, so they already believe that your parents probably are. They will interpret anything you say in the worst possible way for your parents.

Talk to a lawyer. I'm frightened by this and I don't even know who you are.

It sounds to me like you are covering for someone. If you are, I'd come clean, if not, then the truth should be enough. Let your parents know what happened, and hopefully they can make your principle see that you are not being hurt by them.

Wow thats a tough situation. wow some nice friends you have there. Lol but atleast yu know they care but they should learn to speak to you and ask what happend before telin the principle. The principle shouldnt obviosly think your parents are abusive. Wow just explain to him and wow. idk this sucks. WELL good luckk<3 xxoxo. =]

Tell your parents right away and they can go with you. Your principal has no business interrogating you without your parents.
