i really need help, i know this might be stupid &all, but i really want to go to LA w/ my cousin, because i really want to see "certain people" down there, dont ask who plz, but my parents are being mean &saying no, becasue i was @my cousins house LAST WEEK, but that was for thanksgiving! can someone pls give my advice on how to convince them? &i need it now, becasue i have to reply to my cousin ASAP. ty for reading this, even if u cant help....

Sorry I am on your parents side. You probably want to go there because of some boy. You will only get in trouble. You need to stay at home and be a good girl. Your parents are not being mean. They love you and they are being smart.
My parents were really strict when I was a teen. I hated it but it kept me out of trouble and I managed to get through the '70s without doing drugs or getting pregnant or raped.

You're a very perceptive person. You said "this might be stupid &all", and you were right.
You sound like you're about 12, right? And those "certain people" are probably people you shouldn't see. And your parents probably know it. And even if they don't suspect you of anything dubious, they must have a reason for not letting you go to LA.
Sorry, but I agree with your parents. The old "meanies".

Hey girl! This might not help... But!... You could tell them that your really would like to go even though its against their wishes. But This is a ONCE in a life time thing. And you would really enjoy the time. You could also tell them that you need some time away. Things are happeing and you really need to leave.. Lol. That sounds qwerky but.. its worth a try...

Find something that is only sold in LA and say you want to go there to buy it and you might see some other people while your there.

create some random story that is legit about something helpful you want to do
or say your cousin has a BIG surprise for you, (and get your cousin in that loop too, so that if your mom asks her you dont get in trouble)
or say theres something she has that you forgot at her house

Well, explain to them that your cousin is a responsible and legal adult and that you should be able to go hangout with him or her simply because they're over 18 and they're your family.

girl listen to your parents they're trying to keep you safe it may seem like all fun and games right now but i'm sure there's a reason why they're not letting you go and the fact that you're trying to go so bad lets me know you're up to no good
