for a career change? I know someone who wants to be a nurse. But thnks she is Too OLD to go to college.
I say go for it... What do u think

My dad is almost 55 and he's planning on changing his career to teaching. He's already started trying to make his dream come true by taking classes and teaching at local colleges. Tell her to go for it.

It's never too late. But being older might count against admission to nursing school for a RN.

Still, there are many kinds of nursing careers some of which you can prepare for at junior college.

It's never too late to go to college, but it may be too late to begin a caree that has a mandatory retirement age of 65.

Noooo... I go to Tech Center and there's a lady in my class who is in her 70's and learning Accounting and before that she was a Cosmetologist for 45 yrs.... She was in a wheel chair b4 and after getting da surgery she uses a walker...................... Its never to late to go to college.
