It doesn't make much sense. Jesus was a Jew. Why is there Christianity if he was a Jew? And the thing is, Christians probably dislike Jews.

WWJD?

Good question. Because Paul invented Christianity. Yes, they should be Jewish like Jesus, but instead they follow Paul.

Christians don't dislike Jews, first of all. They dislike us though. I dated one for 1.5-2 yrs. I spoke to his mother once via telephone and met his father once. His father refused to even enter our house.Stood outside in the dark. Jesus changed alot of things during his ministry on earth. The new testament went took us from being under the law to a state of grace. Also, Jesus said we are to set aside the first day of the week versus the sabbath, just to name a few. We are Christians based on Christ's teachings. They began with Judaism. Not everything was wiped away, but mostly. We must read the new testament and act accordingly. The bk.of Acts tells of the church that Jesus built. That is what we should be striving for.

The answer is in the Bible for what you are asking. I guess the reason why you are asking is because you don't know the Bible that well.

Please read Hebrews. It's in the New Testament.

One of the things that it talks about is the things of the Old Testament which applied to the reality of what was to come, i.e. Jesus Christ.

Here is a little bit of it:

3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." 6 But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.
( Hebrews 8 )

Jesus also lived in what is now Israel, should we all move there? He was born of the house of Judah, yet often broke the Jewish Sabbath laws. Christians are followers of Christ, both Jew and Gentile. Through Christ, we have a new covenant, our sins forgiven by His work on the cross. There is no longer a need for the Mosaic law, since it was only a shadow of what was to come in Christ.

Rom 2:25 For indeed circumcision profits if you practice the Law, but if you are a transgressor of Law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
Rom 2:26 If, then, the uncircumcision keeps the ordinances of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
Rom 2:27 And will not the uncircumcision by nature by completing the Law judge you, the one who through letter and circumcision becomes transgressor of Law?
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew that is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh;
Rom 2:29 but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

Paul's argument is that those who are believers, are inward Jews, Jews in Spirit, not according to the flesh, or fleshly laws.

Joh 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The law was made for the Jews, through Christ, we have grace and truth. The law could never save, only reveal sin, Christ saves.

WWJD? Heal the sick, give sight to the blind, rise from the dead. The right question is, what would Jesus have you do?

What makes you think that Christians dislike Jews?
Jesus was a Jew, but is followers were not always Jewish.
The Jewish Church of Jesus' time didn't believe he was the Christ, Christian believe that he was and is the Christ. Anyone can believe in Jesus Christ, why would you have to have the same ethnic background?

Christianity wasn't a religion until 300 something years after JC's death, when Christian leaders decided to declare Christianity a religion independent of Judaism (they thought they were still a sect of Jews) at the Council of Nicea. That was also the same council when all the fun times Jews had in the middle ages under the Christians started.

CoffeeNo, Yeshua (Jesus) IS a Hebrew (Jew), He is alive & well now, When He walked this earth humbled as a man He kept all the laws (He is the Word of God, to break the Word of God, He would have to have broken His Word to His Father), the Word of God says there was not sin found in Him there was not even mean things found in His mouth.
The Greek word for Christ Christos became Christian.
Just as Joshua the name we have for became Jesus, His Name is Yeshua.
We r not Jews, Jews r Jews, they r His wife.
We r the bride of Christ when the wedding feast (7 yrs while the anti-Christ is on the earth doing his thing) happens after the great catching away we will be joined with them as the wife of Christ.

This so reminds me of a conversation with my mother in law (devout Catholic), who found a jesus magnet on my fridge. She approached me and in an angry tone asked "Why have you got a picture of Jesus, you are not a Catholic ?"
My answer was" Neither was he ! ". She gave me a look like someone had crapped in her handbag.

I rest my case.
