Tell her the truth. Seriously. Tell her you're not interested in the guy she's got in mind. Thank her for her interest in finding you someone and then mention that you find the other friend appealing. Don't do this while either of the friends are around, obviously!

Avoid answering when the friend asks you directly. If She says "will you go out with....." say, "well, i don't really have time for that right now" Because then if you do get with the other girl, the set-up girl will just see it as the other girl came along at the right time.

why don't you set yourself up with the other guy? stop worrying about hurting someones' feelings. you don't owe any allegiance to your friend regarding who you choose to date. just let your friend know that you are not interested in her best friend to date her friend. that's that. you don't have to go through a whole lot of changes. and if your friend gets angry with you for not letting her set you up with said best friend, i'd question the friendship. she doesn't own you. be your own person...and have fun, and date who you want to date i wish you all the best

The best way to be is up front and honest with your friend. If she truly is your best friend and you hers, she'll understand you telling her the truth... that you're not interested and to respect your feelings. Good Luck.

Tell the girl thanks it is sweet of you to think of me but I would prefer it if you set me up with the other guy. Personally I am more attracted to him. Then smile and think of going on a date with him. :) Be honest it works the best!!! :)

Say your gayy :: NO! Dont do that.
(no disrespect, my uncle, bestfriends, and cousins are gayy.)
Just set her straight. You'r not comfy with the whole set up thing, you want to find the right guy for you.

You need to tell her that. Tell the truth. Sounds cliche but there really isn't another option.
