I love God. Presently and from the age of 10, I was very distant from family. So, for me it's no contest. If I did have family, just a normal family they would be ahead of my own life and interests. I would still love God most. But I would go to hell itself to protect any member of my family. For God I would suffer much less. But for Him, I would go through any torture man could deal. Not much though. I know God would end any suffering before it went beyond my endurance.

I don't have a way to measure my love for God. However, He is at the top of the priority list. Sometimes we are faced with difficult situations in choosing a family member over God, But we have to have faith in his word. His word says to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. This is His Number One commandment. We are not told that about family. We are so quick to love family members above him usually because our relationship with him is so far removed that we choose them over Him. I say this with the utmost concern and respect of what a person may be going through. These things are tough at times.
If you asked this question because you are going through something pertaining to this question, please be carefull of who you take counsel from. They may not be giving you wise and Godly counsel. Depending on the circumstance, you may be asking the wrong question.

Interesting question. If I were put in a position where I had to choose between the lives of my children or my belief in God, I'd choose my children and expect God to understand. If he is in fact all knowing, loving, caring, etc., then preserving the lives of my kids in lieu of professing allegiance to him should seem like a sensible choice.
If he is so insecure about his followers that a moment of situationally imposed disbelief should shake his confidence then what kind of deity is he?

Yes. I love God more than my family! God is more amazing than anything. He is always by my side. Without him, I would not even have a family. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and they mean the world to me, but without God i would not have anything in my life.

The two most important things in life are God and family. I love them both, just in different ways. God is the almighty, nothing or no one should come before him, my family is very important, they are my support but, God has the answers to all things

More?
Less?
Is your god really that petty?
Children learn better than to ask that question. "Who do you love more, my brother Timmy or me?"
A heart cannot be filled with love. It expands to let in more and more loved ones. You cannot love more, only better. Love is a verb, not a noun.
....any mother who claims to love anyone more than her own child is committing a deep sacrilege in my eyes.
